BBAW: TBR Mountain

Here it is.  It’s huge; it’s as tall as my little sister.  Dare I list them all?  Nah, you can see them.  A quarter of them are school books, but they are just as much “to be read” as all the other ones!

Another angle.  Plus cat.  Oskar likes to read!  She also likes to pee on things.  I don’t think that’s what she’s doing here, but it wouldn’t surprise me.

    1. My library is seriously the most awesome library on the planet. Their rule for how many books you can check out is, officially, “However many you can carry out the door.” They’re super lenient on fines, but oddly, it just makes me get the books back faster because I appreciate how kind they are. I am going to be giving them a hefty donation if I’m able this Christmas, because they absolutely deserve it!

  1. We have so many books in our TBR pile that I really don’t think we could stack them in a single pile. We currently have two towers up against the wall that are about 2 – 3 feet high each. Clearly I have a problem….

    1. Steph,
It was a challenge to stack it this high, but I wanted to see if I could do it! There might be some others sneaking around that I don’t know about, but I think I got most of them. We all have a problem, otherwise we wouldn’t be book bloggers! I’ve never heard of a better problem to have 😉

    1. CB James,

I’m thankful mine isn’t at the moment! Just because my house is tiny and I don’t know where I’d store it all hahaha. Whenever I finish a book and I’m deciding what to read, the TBR stack is the best place to be. It’s always exciting!

    1. Trish,
Lol! I wish I had room for another bookshelf! I’m just stacking them in piles for now, wherever I can fit them. Or they stay in my car, haha.

  2. Wow, Lu! One word: amazing!

Do you normally keep them like that or did you just stack them up to take the photo?! What happens when you want to read a book in the middle of the stack?! 😀
